Transparent and Flexible Legal Pricing

At All in One Law, we understand that legal costs are an important consideration. Chris McWatters is committed to providing clear, transparent, and fair pricing from the outset, so you can make informed decisions about your case.

Before any work is undertaken, a fee will be agreed through Chris’s clerks at No5 Chambers, and a formal letter of instruction will be provided. This will clearly set out the scope of work and the agreed costs.

Fees will vary depending on factors such as:

The complexity of your case

The volume of documentation

The level of preparation required

The court or tribunal involved

The fee ranges below are intended as a general guide to assist you in understanding potential costs.

Family Law Fees

Children Proceedings

Initial Conference (in person or remote): £500 – £1000
Directions Hearing (up to 1 hour): £1500 – £3000
Contested Interim Hearing (half day): £2000 – £3500
Final Hearing / Fact-Finding (one day): £2500 – £5000
Additional Days (Final Hearing): £1500 – £2500 per day

Financial Remedy Proceedings

First Directions Appointment (FDA): £2000 – £3000
Financial Dispute Resolution (FDR): £2500 – £5000
Contested Interim Hearing: £3000 – £4500
Final Hearing (one day): £3500 – £6000
Additional Days (Final Hearing): £2500 – £4000 per day

Immigration, Asylum & Human Rights Fees

Initial Conference (in person or remote): £500 – £1000
Case Management Hearing: £1000 – £2500
First-tier Tribunal Appeal Hearing: £1500 – £3500
Upper Tribunal Appeal Hearing: £2000 – £4000
Administrative Court / Court of Appeal: £3500 – £6000

Drafting Fees

Grounds of Appeal: £1000 – £3000
Skeleton Argument: £1500 – £4000
Judicial Review Grounds: £1500 – £4000

Hourly Rates

Barrister (litigation and advisory work): £250 – £350 per hour
Paralegal Support (supervised by Chris): £50 – £85 per hour

(depending on the level of supervision required)
